This
website honors the Jewish American patriots who are buried at
Arlington National Cemetery, in Arlington, Virginia. These
patriots include service men and women, astronauts, Federal
judges, spouses and children.
A
project of the Jewish Genealogy Society of Greater Washington
(JGSGW), the research began with digitization of the information
collected by Kenneth Poch. It is our intent to expand the
database and website to include gravesites that have been added
since Ken's death and others that he may have inadvertently
missed. We have added photographs of grave markers,
dates of interment or inurnment, and other information about
those Jewish persons who are at rest at Arlington National
Cemetery in Virginia. The interface will permit genealogists and
others to search the database and to drill down to additional
data.
As of
December 2012, the database includes information for 5,450 Jews at Rest in Arlington National Cemetery.
Search Results now include many details for most records. We are adding more as time permits.
